Nine years ago today I had my thyroidectomy. It was confirmed I had Papillary cancer and it had spread into the lymph nodes.
I had a lot of swelling and a lot of pain after this surgery. It was a cake walk next to the RAI treatment though. That was absolute hell.
But I am still here. I am a survivor! I encourage every single person to have their doctor feel them up!! 😂 Your neck that is! Check that neck!!
Many blessings!

Oh my … you are a survivor. I have had biopsies on my thyroid for years it is painful and scary of a process I have ever gone through. each time they have come back benign. So my hats off to you . Laura the survivor!
Thank you!! So glad your biopsies have always been benign!! Yes those biopsies were not much fun at all!
I have fear of needlees always have since I was little so having a biospy done has been a true challenge 5 needlees and they won’t knock me out for those …was a real horror but you had to have surgery so I can’t even begin to know what you have been through but you are a cancer survivor.
I used to have problem with needles. After everything I’ve been through, kinda used to them now. Crazy what you can get used to!
