I have been to two psychics in my life. Both got some things right. So right it was kinda scary. But both also got some things wrong. Do I believe that there are people out there with psychic ability? Absolutely. I just don’t think it works the way that people think.

There’s intuition and then there’s clairvoyance. Intuition is your guardian. It is the ability to understand something immediately without reasoning.

Clairvoyance is the ability to perceive people, objects or events via extra sensory perception.

It’s unfortunate that there are con-artists out there pretending to be psychic. Money brings out the worst in many people.

Here’s my advice in regards to psychics-if you really want to see one:

  • Research first-so that you don’t end up with a bullshit artist.
  • Don’t let your psychic reading alter anything that you would normally do. They are not counselors.
  • Take the experience for what it is. A reading. Nothing more. Have fun with it.
  • Be ready to be “encouraged” to spend more money by ridding yourself of negativity or a darkness that follows you. (Thanks-a few shots of tequila will clear that right up-I’m good) It is a business after all.
  • I have to say that it is a very interesting experience. To have someone tell you things about yourself that only you know. You just need to be ready to be played for money. Like I said, it is a business for these individuals.

    1. You mock the juju? The spirits are displeased!

Seriously, being strongly empathic and intuitive (among other things), this is something I’ve got some insight on also. You pretty much nailed 90% of what I could say, and did it concisely too. I’ve heard multiple people who are spiritually gifted all say the same thing; when you start using your gifts for financial gain, you’re creating all kinds of karma issues and the universe is going to block your gifts. The old show “The Mentalist” did a great job of showing how most professional psychics use body language, tonality, leading questions, and what is or isn’t said by you to feed you what you want to hear or lead you into spending more.

Personally, if any readers want a Tarot reading, I’d suggest buying the ‘Tarot Readings Premium’ software from Steam. It’s only $6 and has a really nice interface. I know what you’re thinking, get a reading from a piece of software? The thing is, physical cards or software, it’s just your subconscious mind / higher self trying to get through to you. You pick the cards, the software places them, and tell you their base meaning, and how being inverted and or it’s position with other cards effects it’s meaning. Once the cards are all read, the software leaves you to interpret how it all comes together to answer your question. Again, because it’s all really about getting an answer from your subconscious, it’s surprisingly accurate. And $6 one time to use forever beats God know how much repeatedly from a con artist. Oh, and NO, I have no involvement with the production of the software. I wish I was that talented, LOL
