The Anatomy of a Woman’s Handbag

It was way past time to clean out my purse. I was hoping to clear it out, clean it up and keep it for future use. It wasn’t meant to be. The lining was tore beyond repair. Nope! It had to go.

I made several piles.

  1. Loose change
  2. Receipts
  3. Chapstick
  4. Gum
  5. Cough drops
  6. Meds
  7. Trash
  8. Pens
  9. Cash

Yes, you read that right! The hole was in the compartment where I throw my money when I’m in a hurry. I started digging and every time I went back in, there was more green. I ended up with $72.00 in cash in the bottom of my purse. Boy, was I glad I didn’t just throw this purse out without exploring first! That’s a new pair of shoes right there! 😂

Nice!!! Then there was all the loose change. I stopped counting once I got to $20.00. That’s quite a haul! No wonder my purse was so damn heavy!

So, I’m down one purse, but I’m up almost $100.00. It was a good day!

  1. It’s nothing better than finding your own money. It’s a rush😄

But as easy as it is to inadvertently save money in the literal depths of our purse, it’s so hard to physically put savings into a bank😂
