  1. Hmm, mixed feelings on that one. My personal feeling has always been that a friend also has a responsibility to tell you if they think you’re doing something dumb or dangerous.

    Of course, there’s a balance there. Trying to protect a friend doesn’t mean being obnoxious about it, nor beating them over the head with it if you’re right. A friend will warn you, let you make your own choice, and then offer a hand up if you fall on your face.
