  1. Oh I agree!! I just interpret it to mean, they love you, good and bad. My girls speak their minds and I do to them as well. We have our strong points and our weak points but love each other through it all.

  2. Hmm, mixed feelings on that one. My personal feeling has always been that a friend also has a responsibility to tell you if they think you’re doing something dumb or dangerous.

    Of course, there’s a balance there. Trying to protect a friend doesn’t mean being obnoxious about it, nor beating them over the head with it if you’re right. A friend will warn you, let you make your own choice, and then offer a hand up if you fall on your face.
