Love your Life

I hate going out alone. But I’m making myself get out more. Last night I treated myself. I took myself on a date. I had a fabulous meal and a few drinks and it was just what I needed.

I usually just go home after work and watch a movie. Not last night. I think I will be making this a regular thing.

  1. Oh well… While you are enjoying, I’d love to have a rose in my hand outside the restaurant (with empty stomach, of course). And when you’d come out, hand it over to you with a nice bow and walk away wishing you a great evening. (tissues please.. because she did not invite me to such a delicious dinner).

  2. I walk on my own – mainly because none of my friends want to cover the distance at the speed I walk at!
I have had to eat on my own a lot because of travelling for work. Here in London, lots of people are on their own in restaurants, cinema. But whenever I am in a more remote area, I feel as if people are staring at me because I am on my todd! So I sometimes take a book to read while I am waiting for my meal!

  3. You are doing the right thing. After my husband died, I had to learn to go out alone as well. But it truly is important and necessary. I’m happy for you, don’t stop doing it. It’s good for you. ๐Ÿ™‚ โค
