This is one of my favorite quotes. I have been through a lot of changes and experienced a lot of loss over the last several years. Sometimes it takes us a while to realize we can relax, that we no longer need to be in crash position.
When you get hit with one thing after another and then another, crash position is natural. I’m no longer in crash position. I’m blessed. I’m thankful.
It’s so true. I am going through a very stressful time with my daughter and it has taking alot out of me. Yet I was asked why are you letting your peace with God be interupted by her? It was a turning point for me. It refocused me back where I need to be.
I’m glad to hear that. I will keep everyone in my prayers. It is so hard to maintain internal peace when chaos is around us. Especially when it comes to our kids.
Even more when your kids try to upset that peace. This has been a stressful experience from start to finish for every action there is a chain reaction that happens. I either have to talk to a team of people or get calls from a team of people. It’s alot to deal with all at once
I do know something about that. It wasn’t my son, it was my older brother growing up. There was always something going on. He was a drug addict and growing up in that house with him was not easy. I escaped through sports and writing, I’m not saying same thing. But he stole everyone’s peace.
That’s great that your no longer in crash position! Yay you! Go girl! <3
It’s a great feeling. 💕
