When the weather turns cold, arthritis rears its ugly head. I have been adding smoothies to my diet 2-3x a week.
Many smoothie bars offer many different types of powder mixes for additional benefits. From protein powders to probiotics. I always request my smoothies without any added sugar. As I am trying to lose weight. Being that they are made from vegetables and fruit, you not only get the vitamins you need but fiber also.
I’ve also added salmon into my diet on a more regular basis. I can say the transition this year has been less painful for me. Last year, the weather change was excruciatingly painful. I plan to be more vigilant with what I consume.

Absolutely- when you go off refined sugar for awhile and drink something like tea- it tastes like pure sugar granules.
It does change how things taste. I haven’t had a sugared soft drink in about 1 1/2 months. I really don’t want to either. They were a weakness. Glad to have broke that habit.
